Article 370

We are living in a Brexit world where a one percent vote swing changes the course of the country dramatically. So much so for democratic processes. And even before we settle what the long term ramifications are going to be of Brexit, it's clear that no one knows how to cage the beast in the first place. Modi government, decisive as it has been, does not build confidence on managing the execution of their own decisions. The early signs does not certainly looks like people currently in Kashmir are going to take the bitter pill easily and so this is only the first step in the direction of bringing Kashmir into mainstream. I hope that the coming days are not about tightening the freedom but about building confidence that indeed it is a decision for their good. BJP shouldn't lose their moral high ground on emergency through recklessness.
